About Grange ‘A’ Estate Shevaroy Hills, Yercaud

Grange ‘A’ Estate is the oldest coffee estate in the Shevaroy Hills of Yercaud, a scenic hill station in Salem District, Tamil Nadu. With a proud legacy of five generations of coffee planters, we are dedicated to producing some of the finest Arabica coffee in India, rooted in heritage, craftsmanship, and respect for the land. At Grange Estate, we follow a farm-to-cup approach we plant, process, roast, grind, and brew our coffee, ensuring complete quality control and authenticity at every stage.

Our Journey
1850s — Establishment of the Grange Estate in the Shevaroy Hills, laying the foundation for generations of coffee cultivation.
2007–2008 — Awarded Second Prize for Best Arabica Coffee from the Shevaroys at *Flavour of India – The Fine Cup Awards.
2008 onwards — Our coffee earns global recognition through a strategic partnership with Jasper Coffee, Australia.
2024 — Launch of Grange Coffee, our specialty coffee brand crafted for discerning consumers and cafés.
2025 — A landmark year marked by excellence: Winner, Arabica Washed Category , Flavour of India – The Fine Cup Awards 2025.

Estate-to-Cup Craftsmanship
From seedling to final brew, every stage of production is carefully managed on our estate: We cultivate premium Arabica coffee in the fertile soils of the Shevaroy Hills. Each cherry is hand-harvested and processed under rigorous quality standards. Our beans are roasted in small batches to preserve their unique flavour and character. Finally, we grind and brew with precision to deliver the authentic taste of Grange Coffee. This fully integrated, estate-to-cup approach ensures purity, traceability, and consistency in every cup.
Recognition
Our commitment to quality and craftsmanship has been consistently recognised at prestigious national and international platforms. In 2025, Grange ‘A’ Estate was honoured as the Winner in the Arabica Washed category at the Flavour of India – The Fine Cup Award, recognising excellence in coffee craftsmanship. The award was conferred upon Razak Sait, Grange ‘A’ Estate, Yercaud, Tamil Nadu — a testament to our dedication to quality, tradition, and sustainable plantation practices. Grange Coffee — From Estate to Cup Launched in 2024, Grange Coffee brings our estate’s specialty Arabica directly to consumers and cafés.
